MAN FACES THIRD PUBLIC ORDER CONVICTION

first_imgA probation report has been ordered on a Letterkenny man who is facing his third public order conviction in four years.Letterkenny District Court heard that Daniel Patterson of 4 Fairgreen Hill, Letterkenny was seen by gardaí walking down Main Street, Letterkenny holding a glass bottle on May 25th last.He was ordered to put it down by gardaí and became very aggressive. The court heard he continued to be aggressive and was arrested. Patterson continued to be aggressive in the patrol car on the way to the garda station.Judge Denis McLoughlin heard that he had previous convictions for public order offences.Solicitor for Patterson, Patrick Gallagher, said his client has issues with alcohol.
