first_imgWith Rob Gronkowski retiring in the offseason, it’s no secret that the Patriots are in the market for a new tight end.Wide receiver Julian Edelman seems to have the exact player in mind for who should fill Gronkowski’s void.  An ex-LSU assistant coach said he offered Zion Williamson a football scholarship. With an arm like this, that’s no surprise … (via @ZionW32) pic.twitter.com/jqDxnNAC9u— ESPN College Football (@ESPNCFB) November 15, 2018MORE: Mock Draft Rounds 1-3At 6-7 285 pounds, Williamson has the frame and then some to play tight end. We have seen Jimmy Graham and Antonio Gates, among others, go from college basketball to the NFL. Let’s be honest, Edelman was just messing around, but the Photoshop wasn’t the only realistic thing about this scenario.
