Zlatan Ibrahimovic had ‘concrete offer’ to return to AC Milan last summer

first_imgManchester United target Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed he was subject to an approach from former club AC Milan last summer.Ibrahimovic, 34, spent two seasons with Milan before joining Paris Saint-Germain in 2012.Despite becoming the French club’s all-time record goalscorer, Ibrahimovic has been constantly linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes, with United keen on acquiring his services.However, Ibrahimovic says he was tempted by a move back to the San Siro but a deal between the two clubs never materialised.“I have wonderful memories, Italy is my second home. If it had been up to me, I would not have left Milan, it’s the biggest club for which I played”, Ibrahimovic told Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport.“Last summer, there was a concrete offer from Milan.
